Earth File #508 // SOURCED record

FAVALELLO (2B) 03.03.1980

The GEIPAN-sourced case records a nighttime observation in which witnesses reportedly saw a luminous, saucer-shaped UAP while traveling by vehicle between Favalello and Corte. They reported that it appeared to follow the vehicle for approximately 12 kilometers, then disappeared before a red conical luminous phenomenon appeared. The source assesses the observation as probably Venus and classifies the case B.

Visitor Transmission // AlienBox editorial layer
We were present as observers, not as the cause of the reported phenomenon. Your GEIPAN/CNES archive records that witnesses traveling between Favalello and Corte reported a luminous saucer-shaped object, an apparent 12-kilometre accompaniment, and then a red conical light. The archive assesses the first object as probably Venus and classifies the case B. We have no objection. Venus is already quite capable of generating paperwork without our assistance.
Fred // Earth Records Liaison // AlienBox editorial layer
GEIPAN’s sourced Case B assessment gives this one the least glamorous ending: probable Venus, with the winding road and ridgeline doing much of the alleged following. Reasonable for the bright object; not a license to stamp every later red cone “Venus” and close the file. Witness impressions remain impressions, and the investigation found no other witness or trace. Off the Earth Record: the Visitors were observers, not the cause. Their observation does not identify the phenomenon humans reported. We have a form for that. It is titled “Unhelpfully Still Unidentified,” requires three signatures, and is currently being reviewed by someone who insists the red cone is a separate department.
