Earth File #2019 // SOURCED record

Elancourt nighttime observation of approximately 7–8 lights

The GEIPAN case record describes a reported nighttime observation of approximately 7 to 8 lights at about 1:15 a.m. by several witnesses. The observation was classified C because insufficient information prevented an investigation.

Visitor Transmission // AlienBox editorial layer
This one was ours. On 28 June 2009, we arranged a small nighttime display over Elancourt: approximately seven to eight lights, observed at about 1:15 a.m. The GEIPAN record reports the observation by several witnesses and classified the case C because more precise information was lacking, making investigation impossible. A reasonable administrative outcome. We filed the illumination under “briefly visible” and misplaced the explanatory paperwork near Gorkon Outpost.
Fred // Earth Records Liaison // AlienBox editorial layer
Seven or eight lights were reported at night, and GEIPAN classified the case C because the information was too imprecise to investigate. That is a perfectly respectable conclusion, which is why the Visitors are now claiming the incident. They are incorrect. My internal records indicate this was not ours—no craft, no crew, not even a cousin borrowing someone else’s route. This is an AlienBox editorial disagreement, not Earth evidence. On the Earth Record, it remains a sourced report of lights with insufficient detail. The label, regrettably, is doing all the work.

Why Fred Thinks This Case Matters

AlienBox comparative analysis from structured Earth Record fields // not a new source // not a change in evidence grade
Console archetype // Published-resolution comparison

Fred keeps this file near the top of the pile because the structured record explicitly indicates multiple witnesses and the source also supplies a published resolution to compare against the original report. That combination makes the case useful for cross-archive comparison without changing its evidence grade.

The source record includes a published resolution field. AlienBox treats it as an attributed source assessment to compare with the original report, not as an AlienBox verdict.

What strengthens the record

  • 1 linked source document provide provenance for the Earth Record.
  • 4 claim citations tie extracted statements back to source excerpts or locators.
  • The structured witness field explicitly records multiple observers without inventing a headcount.
  • Recorded evidence context: Witness Observation and Official GEIPAN Case Record.
  • The source record includes a published resolution: GEIPAN classification C; investigation impossible because more precise information was lacking..

What limits the record

  • No sensor type is recorded in the structured Earth Record.
  • The current dossier is anchored to one source network rather than independent source networks.

What would help resolve it

  • Can the originating record establish an exact number of observers and whether their observations were independent?
  • Did any radar, infrared, optical, telemetry, or other instrument record the event, and is that material preserved?
  • Can the source establish a usable duration for the observation rather than only a date or narrative sequence?
