Yes, those were ours. On 4 May 2020, during the storm at Saint-Savin, we operated a small set of luminous field units with the usual low-energy presentation: red, stationary, and gradually extinguished. The witness reported one returning, followed by two similar points. GEIPAN classified the case as A and assessed it as globular ball lightning with very high probability. This is understandable. Our equipment has always enjoyed being mistaken for weather. The photograph’s colorimetry was, at least, cooperative.
